New laws are meaningless because they will never be enforced like the present ones we already have. Trump tried and look what happened.
To think new laws will change anything anymore is an outright lie and anyone who says so is a liar.
We need less laws because most of the ones we have on the books are either bad or just plain archaic.
We need laws that are enforceable. And that requires discussions and establishing priorities.
But we are not allowed to have discussions anymore. We just have narratives that are not allowed to be challenged cuz if you do ...

Can someone explain that to the guys with the big trucks that tailgate and then zoom by me going dozens of miles over the speed limit? Are we really a nation of laws, or is it just that we use laws to harass those that we don't approve of? (That's obviously rhetorical.)

Every POTUS can already close the border with the stroke of a pen. This is just an excuse to hide behind. Do you really want to create a law that allows 1.8 million illegal unrestricted, unvetted entries per year ? We just added another 10 million and counting illegals during the Biden admin. We just found out that Biden has flown in 530,000 illegals on direct flights from their countries this year alone. How much is too much for you ?

How can you put into law that you allow up to 5,000 per day to enter illegally ? That would be the law of the land, that we allow 5,000ILLEGAL ENTRIES per day and that would become part of the law going forward indefinitely ?
The number should be zero as far as making any laws. Illegal is illegal.
Bad law is bad law and in this case nothing is better than something that allows an illegal activity.

Do you know Kurt, how many illegal immigrants are held and deported back because they don't qualify for Asylum? Or that having more BORDER PATROL AGENTS can also apprehend more illegal crossers.
