Sometime in the past couple of weeks, the title metadata that's returned from the AAC 320bps Main Mix stream has started returning invalid Unicode data.

For example, "Glömd" by Koop is returned as "Glu00f6md" (where the "ö" is Unicode U+00F6).

For home media devices that support displaying title metadata, this is unfortunate.

Let me know if you need any more information or details. Thanks!

In Firefox on Windows computers, I am no longer able to listen to My Favorites stream. It still works (thankfully!) on my Node 2i.

Any hints/thoughts as to why it isn't working on my computers?

I've experienced the same problem with Firefox on two different Win10 PCs. It's intermittent but annoyingly frequent. There are times when Favorites will play but stop 3 or more songs later. This morning Favorites will play. It may go all day or go to dead air on its own randomly. The reliable work around is Edge, but I'd rather rely on Firefox. Yes, I've tried clearing all cache and data related to RP with no change in the behavior.

Feature request: In the "Who's listening" could we add bar chart/stats displaying the total count of unique listeners in last (day, week etc)

Same here, with the AAC 128bps stream.  It is quite ugly.

I think I may know when the bug occurs. When one cache is near the end, I download additional cache so that I will not run out. What appears to happen is that when the original cache runs out, the app stops playing on Apple Car Play. When I hit the play button to continue (on to the next cache), there is nothing there. It somehow wipes out the new cache. The only work around now is to let an existing cache run out then download a new cache. Unlike the previous version, there is no smooth transition between the old cache and the new cache. I am pretty sure this is the problem. Hopefully it can be fixed. Thanks.

Now I am not so sure about when the cache kicks out. Today I had about two and a half hours of cache loaded on my iPhone app and a song stopped playing in the middle on Car Play. When I selected the download cache, it was there but could not be selected. After a few tries it just disappeared.

And now it is it broken, again. I can listen to the main mix, and the other 3 streams - just not My Favorites, on my Win11 machine, in Firefox. In Microsoft Edge, is working.
Lemme check the sign in - there seems to be two ...
EDIT: it is logged into the same account in Firefox as it is in Edge - and still no go on playing My Favorites. :-(

EDIT 2: now today (Sunday the 17th of September) Firefox is working on My Favorites, again! Yay!

I have had the exact same problem with the cache. It will stop while playing in the the car through Apple CarPlay. When I look at the cache, which should be over an hour, it has disappeared. This has happened as least three times since I have upgraded. I can't see any predictive behavior that is causing this. It seems a bit random.

I updated the RP app yesterday. I finally figured out how to download for my iPhone for Apple CarPlay. The problem I came across tonight was on my IPad. We play RP at dinner on the deck and bring up the graphics to watch as the music plays. In the new version the iPad blanks out the graphics after a short time. Previously they remained on the screen the entire time. That kind of defeats the purpose for having the graphics. Can this be fixed so we can enjoy the wonderful photos that users have submitted?

This still happens in the newest 8.0.1. bug fix that was just issued.

But that was years ago,  I'll add that as a feature request.

Many thanks! I can modify the bitrate manually and that will work for now.

The app is great, a tiny bug:
When clicking the widget to enter the app the widget itself becomes shorter (and stays that way until restarting the phone).

On iPad, in portrait rotation, the song/artist/date display nicely - pretty much the accustomed RP display. In landscape, just the cut off mini “now playing” corner. The info could be in the big unused space left or right of the album cover.

Apologies if this request already exists. It may enhance deeper engagement with our songs if we could have lyrics sychronised with the music.Perhaps as a lyrics mode ?
