same with the guards, just doing a job and making another payday (because of training a lot of them were plucked out to work in police depts for better pay)

i gleaned the article and if they have video, it has certainly been viewed and if someone is doing something wrong they would have to answer
what does that look like? probably firing and possible incarceration (there are active efforts to weed bad employees out - see fbi investigations)
i'm not sure of the conspiratorial inner circle stuff (that's why almost everything is captured on video now)
this isn't like something happening on the street, it's a highly controlled environment
secret nefarious cabals getting large groups of officers to risk careers, livelihoods and time behind bars might make a good story, but i'd guess that it is unlikely to happen
if the guy in question has a case or valid claim then i believe that something will come out of it
i guess we will see what happens

I'm sure there are countless "issues" in the prison guard profession that can only exist because most of us don't care to look there, and care even less about those complaining.  It's amazing that you can run a prison with guards who need to rely on one another for their own safety, yet have issues with large groups of co-workers.

Probably the case in a lot of states besides Florida...
