ok....that is news to me...thank you....

and yeah, mail ordering was kind of a pain, but we got some great seats that way over the years, in the old days...

I allways thought the mail-order was purposfully time-consuming for the buyer in order to discourage scalpers.

I don't have a date so I'm gonna take that extra ticket and wait until one of those really lame deadheads comes around whining about "I need a miracle" and then I'm gonna give it to him/her. Just for old tyme sake!

kewl....it will be nice to miracle someone!!

i never had an extra, so never got to do it.....but i saw it happen a lot, and the happiness it brought was unmistakable!!

this is what my friend said:

As for The Dead, they are playing the Garden Saturday, April 25th.  I'm ONLY going in for that lottery even though they will be playing other venues Nearby.  The dead.net site, I cant find details of the presale tickets except that presale starts this Tuesday.  So, I recommend both you and I trying to win that lottery for 4 tix.  Register and create a login ahead of time, ahead of Tuesday!!!   I just did it today.

I really wish I could go to the show that's on my birthday...

I'm also hoping they get a bit energized and decide to extend into a summer tour... A nice summer show at the Gorge would be awesome.
