I have two years on you... Saw my first show in 1978 (at age 18), my last at Highgate in, I think it was 1995ish?
I kind of lost the spark after Brent died (and I think they did too...) But it remains the seminal music in my life.

We really only go to smaller shows now, singer/songwriter types, and it's usually a great
music deal for the price.  I haven't been to an arena show in years! 

Chris Smither in a couple weeks, Kris Delmhorst the week after that.

yeah, i found that pretty shocking too, but then, i haven't been to a concert since the 90's. so it may be normal....i honestly have no idea.

Those days were some of the most important of my life,
but they're over, and I think trying to recreate it is kinda sad.

I allways thought the mail-order was purposfully time-consuming for the buyer in order to discourage scalpers.

and mail order is a drag, have to follow all the directions perfect or else they toss your order.....     they said they go on sale at 12:00est.

they always did mail order before.....and, if you have free time to actually go get the money order and go to the post office, it works great....
