I really like Thing in this.
It has such a great personality compared to any other Addams Family versions before.

Do I belong in "What Is the Meaning of This"?

I enjoyed it a lot

Ozark is well worth it. I thought the end was good, but not mind blowing like MASH or Newhart. Some shows feel like a waste, but the talent in Ozark is undeniable. And they play a Rundgren tune on the radio! (Wrong one for the scene though)

It has a Gervais kinda feel with her being sad, funny, distant, longing. Not the greatest show ever, but you might like it.

So DownHomeGirl goaded me into starting Severance, on AppleTV.  I'd post a trailer/video but all the ones I just looked at are FULL of spoilers so don't even google it, just (if you have Apple TV) go start it. It's very quiet and weird, the first few episodes are kind of like Lost where you're just trying to figure stuff out, but once you get the premise the story moves on and gets really tense. I haven't gotten into a TV show in a long time... watched an episode here and there but since there was no Giants baseball yesterday, I started episode 4 or 5 and wound up binging the whole rest of the season. Since I had zero idea of who's in it or what it's about, I think I got the full effect, so really just go watch without reading about it.

We started watching Severance (wife and me) together.  She lasted 1 episode.

I went back probably a month later on my own early one Sunday morning.  Hmmm...that's interesting (ep 2)... so I watched another.  Caught up to the release schedule pretty quickly (1 every Friday)... and eventually watched the last one early on a Friday before working.  I really enjoyed it.  A lot of subtlety, and the acting/casting was really good.  Ben Stiller's directing has been getting better and better over the years (Dannemora was pretty good too).  He did the first and last 3...with Irish director Aoife McArdle (known for music videos) directing the middle three (not sure why the 3-3-3 mix...maybe schedules).

It's definitely one of the most enjoyable things I've watched in the past year or two.

Yep. I get it. Black people have had a really tough deal for quite a while.
But I don't understand what happened there on Survivor.
If we're counting "people voted off" by race... did they not consider all the previous people voted off prior?
Just because two black people got voted off in a row... "They're all racist now!"

Plus, she’d voted off that first black woman.

It was a real blunder making such a thing about it. She should’ve looked, kept it to herself, played her idol (and maybe even told Maryan to play hers, too, whispering), and after it was over say her piece to the camera in private.

Ignoring that last bit, same. Getting rid of “c’mon in, guys” was ludicrous.

In fact, one night at work I was asked to double check something a colleague had done. I popped in, said hello to the nice lady, and went back to my desk to document it. And then I saw her name.
I literally ran across the area to see if she was still there - and she was! And I said…” Oh my God, you’re Sonja Christopher!!!” And she smiled, and we talked for a while. Caught me up on Richard Hatch’s story, and was a grand person to chat with.

Worth watching. Just finished season one. Gary Oldman is excellent.

Cool theme song by Mick Jagger.

Thanks, Manbird! This is now must-see. David Tennant, Kristen Scott Thomas, Gary Oldman: just about anything they do is worth watching.

Gary was outstanding in “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy “ . The TV mini-series of the story from the 80s with Alec Guinness was even better.

This could bring an end to the show.  Wokeness is fatal.  It seems to kill everything it touches.
