appy's uncle lives in the 'burbs.  Maybe we could take over his house.  He just moved to an 'estate.'  Not sure exactly what that means... but it's in Walnut Creek someplace and apparently it's a house with land.  Camping!

appy was in Europe (we weren't married at the time— had been dating for about a year). I think it was an Acoustic Syndicate show, but not entirely sure... it was May 2000... There was this rowdy bunch in the back that was clogging. So of course every time I deliver them a pitcher I dance with them... Got to chatting with them and it turned out it was appy's uncle (from San Fran) there visiting his hillbilly family. It was hilarious when appy called from France— at a discotek (don't want to know what time it was in France but I suspect the sun was coming up). I was like, "yeah, hey. I'm here clogging with your uncle from California." Appy was all, "huh???" And then the phone was passed around and much drunken yelling ensued.

One of my absolute favorite houses here in town just came up for sale.  It's not outrageously priced, not an extravagant house, but it hurts to know that it's so far out of my league that I should just give it the heck up.  This being borderline trailer trash is humiliating sometimes.
