I'm saddened that this has happened again.
I'm saddened that this will be off the news with a tweet tomorrow morning.
I'm saddened that there are no #NewZealandstrong hashtags or people putting NZ flags on their FB profiles.
I'm saddened that this is where we are now.
I'm saddened that I'm part of this humanity.

Big sale right now on airfare to Australia and NZ and Tahiti depending on the airline - and
Qantas having a Black Friday sale.
Just got tix RT SFO-SYD for all of September, about $750pp. Anything under $1K is a damned good deal.

She took this picture in NZ and it wasn't staged. It just happened.

Sorry!! I'll take it back.
Christchuch is in dire need of portaloos. Sorry I missed your earlier concern. Yes, it's legit. I know some of the people involved and they're on the level.

Re the impact of the quake, here's two good articles in the NZ Herald on it:
cost of the quake financial health of NZ's earthquake commission Basically NZ has a pretty good set-up to handle this kind of thing. I'm pretty confident the Cantabrians will bounce back. They are a pretty staunch bunch, Nevertheless, sure send them toilets!!

Unlike long-drops, the smell of which is not usually noted for having a fish component
