Any edits you make to the live listing do go thru the approval process but the original listing is still live. Yes, I had read a few boards where people talked about waiting for a long time to get "invited". I don't think my Prime membership and frequent purchases assisted in the quicker invitation; it was probably just more a matter of lucky timing/lower volume of applicants - or maybe they figured out my secret identity.

ScottFromWyoming wrote:Cool! They take anyone, I guess. They told me it was exclusive! I have bought a few; one was a little more washed out than I expected, but most are pretty bright/opaque. The shirts are Anvil 980s. That's a light fabric, not as sturdy as some, but they feel great. People are idiots and order a smaller size than they should, then complain about it, but I think the size is pretty close. Maybe a bit smaller? They apparently shrink up some too but I know how to wash cotton and I haven't felt like I got the wrong size. American apparel shirts were definitely smaller. But anyway, I put in the bullet points to order a larger size if they like their shirts to be loose fitting. Find me on facebook or PM me if you want some tips on how to do the listing... it's great when you just get sales without having to flog every shirt. If I think up a great coffee cup design, though, I could use my POD provider; they would produce and ship, Amazon would take a cut from them, and I'll get my same commission.

His complaint is that the website alters his password spontainously (or I do it for fun). I know his password. I even recognise the hashed version of his password in the database. It is not changed ever. I always can log in. The annoying thing is that customer support from the large company I work for believes the customer. The company decided that he is an important customer and they assigned a person to him so it's always the same women I talk to. I always ask she checked his complaint. She always say that she too cannot log in with the password, so it must be altered. (she did not check at all) The first 3 times I checked the website and database to see if the password was changed. If I replied that I checked the password and it's working (with a screenshot showing that I logged in using his username) then it doesn't work for the customer and also the women from customer support. If I say that I reset the password and everything is cool now then everybody is happy and the problem is gone for a few weeks. So now when the 'problem' shows up I swiftly reply the email with 'password reset is done already' and everybody is happy. I even got a thumbs up from my manager for my quick actions. I never ever did any password reset.
We have a similar phenomenon in the optical business. People will come in with their glasses saying they don't feel right or I can't see right. Upon inspection, everything is hunky dory. We have a thing called healing air. For chronic complainers, we will put them in a tray overnight and call them back the next day saying they have been inspected from stem to stern and they are good to go. They get them back and are happy. For those who say they don't feel right and no adjustment is needed, we simply warm up the temples and give them back, they feel the warmth which proves in their mind that we did change something and they are happy. Actually changing an adjustment is the worst thing you can do. But my main technique to getting these people out the door and out of what hair I have left is to wash their glasses with soap (dawn) and water and give them back crystal clear. Most people are so taken aback by the clarity, they forget what they came in for.

My strategy would be, "There seems to be a bug in our system that is causing a problem with this password. Please chose a new password, Minimum 10 characters must include a mix of lower and upper case, at least one number and non-alphanumeric character." After a few times trying to learn a new password, they will give up and type it in properly.

Some free fonts (fka typefaces)! The link for "Caneletter" goes to a different font, but you can search the site for the correct one.
