Radio Paradise

I read through this thread and I think the C.Crane CC WiFi Internet Radio that Kurtster suggested is the way to go,

I have never seen an innerweb radio let alone operate one so I would like to hear from anyone that uses one about the pros&cons,
fwiu a person can listen to any radio station that does web streaming including Radio Paradise, correct?
I use a wifi router so just punch in my system number and I am good to go?

I sent in $8.65 to this place in Brooklyn for the radio hat last year and still awaiting it's return,
Life magazine endorsed it, "Works Fine" according to them, I check my mail box daily {#Arrowd}

Ha ! Yes the price did indeed come down. Don't own the radio but I can tell you that CCrane is a good outfit, family owned and has great customer service. You have 60 days to return it, no questions asked.

Still looking at this radio. My present clock radio is 35 years old and its an analogue tuner so changing channels in the middle of the night is a bitch. I've been listening to evening and overnight talk since I was a kid when I built my Remco crystal radio and listened with one of those old fashioned ear pieces. Mine was before there was the single sided headphone.

In the meantime, I got my first tablet, an Amazon Fire HD. Haven't really used it a whole lot yet, other than as a portable radio. I've got RP and I ♥ Radio and some stations that I must use their webpage in order to listen. Its pretty cool doing that.

Altho I can't find it for sale anywhere, and OP is in the UK but the device was never available in the US, as far as I can tell. Oh well.

Hi Jrzy,

I run several Airport Express devices throughout the home via windows environment and love them. One way to get around the via I-Tunes only is getting Rouge Amoeba's (Airfoil for windows/or mac). Basically allows you to run anything through Airport Express- Pandora etc.
