Since I'd not read the books before the first film came out, I wait and read the books after the movies. That way the movies are fresh. The books add to the enjoyment, with greater detail later, rather than missing things from the book when I see the movie.

I have been posting the movie related stuff here because I didn't want to start another forum topic. I don't know who started this one, but if they are still around, and paying attention, perhaps they could amend the title.

Isn't the title of this thread a bit anti-climactic?  Hasn't the book been out for a year or two?
Or are we strictly talking movies, now?

  besides, i don't actually OWN any of the books....gave them away in anticipation of moving...BUT he works close to the OKC downtown library!!

They moved it because the writer's strike left them without a big tentpole movie for the Summer. They then justified it, saying we (the fans) won't have to wait as long between HBP and the first part of 'Deathly Hallows.
