So far I've only found some large marine mammal bones, a primitive green table (or stool?), and various fruits and vegetables.

Don't you get it??? These unmatched shoes go with the similarly unmatched roadside shoes observed along the roadside, abandoned and forlorn. There must be some ritual involving walking along with one shoe off, all the way to the ocean, and swimming out until your shod foot gets gnawed off by a shark, or by Omarosa. My faith in the symmetry of the universe is restored.

By The Associated Press July 22, 2015 5:13 pm SPOTSWOOD, N.J. (AP) — Police say a man sneaked into a central New Jersey home and hid under a bed in a spare room for three days before the homeowner realized what had happened.
Spotswood police say Jason Hubbard was charged with burglary in the incident, which occurred in May but wasn’t made public until this week. He’s also charged with theft of services because he allegedly charged his four cellphones in an electrical outlet under the bed.
Authorities say Hubbard entered the home May 7, when the homeowner took out the garbage. He stayed in the spare bedroom until the homeowner heard a noise in the room and spotted Hubbard.
Hubbard remained jailed Wednesday on $50,000 bail. His age and hometown haven’t been released, and it’s not known if he has an attorney.

Polish town opposes Pooh Bear for unclear gender Saturday - 11/22/2014, 3:30am ET
WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Officials in a Polish town have opposed a proposition to name a playground after Winnie-the-Pooh due to the bear's unclear gender and immodest clothing.
The matter was debated in a closed-door meeting weeks ago in the central Polish town of Tuszyn, but didn't get much media attention in Poland until recent days.
Voice recordings of the meeting were leaked to the media in which officials complained that Pooh Bear is immodestly dressed and also lacks a clear gender. One called the bear a "hermaphrodite. "
Some said a fully clothed Polish cartoon bear named Uszatek would be a better choice.
One of the Pooh Bear opponents, Ryszard Cichy, told a newspaper that he had been joking at the end of a discussion on a playground that had gone on too long.

And the frogs that Peruvians use are from the Telmatobius culeus species, a water frog from remote Lake Titicaca that is listed as critically endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Entire frogs are the main ingredient in a juice blend some people in Peru and Bolivia believe can cure asthma, bronchitis, sluggishness and a low sex drive. Man charged after turtles found beneath clothing
Friday - 9/26/2014, 1:22pm ET
DETROIT (AP) — A Canadian man has been charged after border agents at the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel found more than 50 turtles strapped to his body and hidden between his legs.
The Detroit News reports (http://bit. ly/1BbWGSj ) that Windsor, Ontario, resident Kai Xu was charged Wednesday with smuggling, illegal trading and exporting. A bond hearing was scheduled Thursday in federal court in Detroit.
A U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service agent received a tip about a large box sent to a Detroit postal center. Court documents say it was addressed to Xu and mailed from Alabama. Agents were watching the postal center on Aug. 5 when Xu arrived.
The turtles were found after Xu's SUV re-crossed the border and was stopped in Windsor.
It wasn't immediately clear if Xu has a lawyer.

The majority of the Western world has already come to the conclusion that female genital mutilation is bad—it’s brutal, invasive, and causes children unbelievable amounts of pain for no reason. Meanwhile, male genital mutilation, a.k.a. circumcision, is hailed as a great way to prevent everything from venereal diseases to cancer. The benefits of circumcision are still being debated, so medical associations refrain from condemning or supporting the practice for the most part, and generally leave the decision up to a child’s parents. But plenty of anti-circumcision activists want the procedure banned altogether, like the Canadian organization called CAN-FAP, which stands for the Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project.
