Radio Paradise

They were sort of a second-tier goth band before goth was a genre. Lots of Siouxsie, Gene Loves Jezebel, Shriekback disco dance party sounds. Not my favorite track (I don't listen to them except when I'm prowling around YouTube), but they're not awful. The whole genre might be not your thing, but they're worth dropping the needle on.

Not terrible at all. Not that I would listen to it on a regular basis, but I get it. Lead singer sounds a bit like Alex Harvey. I'm a fan of Siouxsie and have some of her stuff. Her cover of Dear Prudence is my favorite version.

The only thing I'd ever heard about that band was that they were associated with U2 - apparently two of the members were in earlier bands with Bono, and the Edge's older brother was a guitar player in the band.
