I just don't get it. The Sydney Australia LGBTQ+ Mardi Gras celebration is televised nationally and is seen by most people as just a bit of fun (with roots in horrible treatment and discrimination). So a bit of the opening celebration had people in drag, what's the big deal?
Traditional values like family? No one else's orientation has anything to do with my family. Violence against women is a far more important attack on family values.
How's that mass migration working out on this front for women in Europe?
Internationally prescribed diversity without limits. Like I said earlier, I wasn't particularly enchanted by the LGBTQ+ driven new kind of aesthetics of the opening show (that lately keeps coming out of Hollywood, neither). Is there a leftist agenda? Some say, traditional values like 'family' are very much at stake here. Culture war me right here..

According to Article 6 of the Olympic Charter, the Olympic Games are âcompetitions between athletes in individual or team events and not between countries.â
What would you expect? “Uh, yeah, we think there are very fine people on both sides. Except for the racist one that says he took away abortion rights and promised the Christians that they wouldn’t have to vote again if he got elected and said he’d fix the Middle East then sent his son-in-law who didn’t do a damned thing, as we can all see. What was up with that idiocy? We don’t represent that version of the USA.”
Fuck the Olympics. Steph Curry and Steve Kerr of the Warriors got political during their Olympic press conference and endorsed Kamala Harris. They represent the whole United States over there not the DNC.

It was way more than a simple answer. It was a rather strong lengthy endorsement.
He should'a said, I'm just here to represent the United States in the Olympics, we can talk about this some other time, now is not the place.
The air conditioning thing. We do not approve and will not enable. BYOA/C. Really ? Those little units are totally inefficient and will use the same or more electricity than an integrated HVAC system with fewer users. It also puts those without A/ C at a real disadvantage in competition. I was under the impression that heat causes more harm than cold. Isn't that what all this Global Warming stuff is abut ? So make the guests, the athletes, suffer and risk their personal health ?
OK, boss. Have at it. This was just one more reason to diss this whole thing, imho.
Boycotting the games because the French didn't supply AC seems reasonable... from the guy who said "Everything is too political".
No, just leave the politics out of it. Period. Get politics out of sports. Period.
An individual or two says something... and you respond with "Fuck the Olympics". Have you listened to his "endorsement"? He was answering a question. Should he say "I'm not gonna answer you...because I represent Kurt and he might be upset"?
