Like this a lot.. takes you into a different universe of scale. Tried doing something similar once but it never quite worked.
Actually this was supposed to be a picture of my wife posing on the beach in Hawaii. This wave surprised both of us...threw her into the rocks (she's ok, was just a little bruised) and this the picture that was captured instead.
Flickr is supposed to be pretty good. For some reason I never got into any photo hosting sites. Sometimes I used that one that has all those filters and got some really good images but I can't recall the name. But you had to download the app.
Been using Flickr for 15 years or so. No problems to speak of the whole time. The free version now limits you to a total of 1,000 pictures. Easy to use to post here. I use the embed method. No watermarks.

Yeah and the park ranger guy wasn't diggin' on it. He chased me around for a little while cussin' then he got tired and fell in the moat. I threw it to him in case he wanted to stand on something. What a goof...I'm glad Ron Henggeler made a newer photo or else I wouldn't have that little added (addled) web of perspective to work with.
Anyhow it'll all be gone soon because I decided to part ways with Photobucket. Not sure why, really. It's possible I could re-enlist some day but I thought I would try out one of the other platforms for awhile. Not sure which one yet. Any suggestions? I want to ramp up some thematic visual creations and stop repeating myself. The echo is giving me tinnitus...
Yep.
I left Photopoopbucket a few back. They became very annoying. I think they wanted to start charging for basic services and other things that just became irritating.
From there I went to Imgur... https://imgur.com/. I like their system way better. And so far no harassment.
Ugh. Apps. Photobucket has some nice editing filters, at least for my amateur skills. Armature. Something.

Cool Pics. But did you really ride around holding that giant concrete head? Man, you must have been crazy strong. Or both.

Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco @ 1976
They were doing some restoration. It's a scan of a 110 photo. I used to
ride my motorcycle around with that thing in my hand. For perspective that is about 5' base to top.
And if I'm not mistaken, as he looks today.
