I saw some other results before playing that gave me some information even without knowing what letters they had played. I don't consider this cheating and in fact it adds to the fun of the game, for me. Sometimes I make assumptions about what sorts of words caused those sorts of results, and am wildly wrong. So even though I didn't nail the first word, I really didn't think of many options for my second word because other possibilities didn't seem likely in those other players' patterns.

My second guess was a burner, just to see if that yellow belonged there. It only eliminated a few possible words but there were still a lot out there. Luckily, I didn't see them, and put down the actual answer in the third slot... then asked myself if there was a better first letter to try first. I decided there was and am now filled with regret.
