And he is Jewish. That alone may make him unelectable in today's climate and certainly at odds with the progressive branch of the party because of his ethnicity.
But what the hey, the more choices the better.
Still don't know much about him, but to those voters who think "I like what Joe did, but don't want him to run again" he, considered a centrist, may be just the ticket.

i'm super busy with work, so i haven't been giving much attention to the polling
in light of events and the news cycle, i just assumed that people would just re-elect biden/harris
oddly i saw a video by a black influencer speaking about another influencer showing clips of hip hop/rap artists promoting trump
i admit i was surprised and i'm guessing they can be quite persuasive among the youth following them
i just glanced at some polling over at 538 and see that trump and biden are literally neck and neck
going forward i wonder how much will hinge on trump's legal situation?

Bolton suggested that he could beat Trump in 2024, because âTrumpâs support within the party itself is in terminal decline.â But Bolton skips over the fact that he has essentially zero support in the GOP. Beating Trump sounds fine â itâs getting people to vote for Bolton thatâs the issue. Bolton seems set on alienating British people too. He spent part of the interview defending former U.K. prime minister Liz Truss, who was ousted after 44 days, and her wildly unpopular economic policies.

Agreed. At this point the only way Biden isn't the nominee is by choice or death. Nobody is going to run against him.
I think he can safely decide to not run, saying "look how much I've done and lieu of me, here are my recommendations."
Said it elsewhere: any combination of Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Whitmer. I believe Democrats and disaffected independents would quickly rally around them instead of DeSanctimonious.

Given a choice, I'd have him take the LBJ route, announce now, and let the field settle itself out over the next 2 years... but I'm not sure I'll like any of the choices very much.
