Living near PA, I thought I'd seen/heard every possible Trump/Harris ad possible. Then I read that conservatives were in a tizzy about one of these... care to guess which....

Trump is fully losing it. Watch any of his recent speeches for five minutes. Heâs completely incoherent. He has been this way for months, but it keeps getting worse. The only thing thatâs different now is that itâs a news storyâfinally!âand more people are recognizing it. Also, his crowds are walking out on him now during these rambling speeches that run to an hour and a half or more.
. . .
Thatâs what we have on this day before Election Day: a well-run campaign with a disciplined candidate who is actually talking about peopleâs lives, versus a Pollock canvas of a campaign led by a candidate who is both losing what remains of his marbles and stewing ever more deeply in the vinegar of his prejudices and hatreds. The only hanging question now is whether enough Americans have taken note.
The constant reporting of polls is just a ratings generator for the cable networks and a paycheck for the pundits. They torture the hell out of the data. And, imo, that contributes to cynicism about polling because the average person doesn't know to ignore it. Plus, it's harmful to the mental health of the country via the constant drip of horserace reporting.
The constant reporting is a net harm to society. I really believe we all need to be just a lot less dialed in to so much information.
I know only one prophet and Kornacki is his name.
When Maddow very first started, she had bartender spots on Friday where she made a drink of some kind, and two very nervous new people helping her out: Chris Hayes and Steve Kornacki... You could tell that the latter was very good at what he does.
I do wonder what the constant reporting of polls is supposed to do. I get the 'state of the race' bit, but as you said, It is within the margin of error, so "close" is about all they can report. I am really curious to see how bad polling and polymarkets miss the real outcome this time.
Any poll wherein the "win" is within margin of error should be labelled a tie.

tbh... I am sofaking tired of this "if I didn't win it's a lie" business..
I mean even my five-year-old knows he can't get away with peddling bullshit. Sure, he tries..
If your candidate wins: celebrate
If your candidate loses: adopt a steely resolve to get through the next 4yrs
And mock the shit out of the celebs who vowed to leave the country if their candidate did not win. Because we all know its a fscking lie. It's just 4yrs.
At least in America, you know when you'll have an election. Wish we had that benefit here in Canuckistan where we are currently enduring the worst PM in our history.
