Help create technology that will bring reading, writing, and arithmetic to millions of kids.

XPRIZE is an innovation engine. A facilitator of exponential change. A catalyst for the benefit of humanity.

We believe that solutions can come from anyone, anywhere and that some of the greatest minds of our time remain untapped, ready to be engaged by a world that is in desperate need of help. Solutions. Change. And radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity.

We are launching our most important XPRIZE yet, and we need your help.

250 million children around the world today don't have basic literacy skills. To provide universal primary education we would need 1.6 million additional teachers by 2015. Literacy unlocks potential, opens up opportunity, and helps bring nations out of poverty.

i agree with you

i had posted some hans rosling vids speaking to slowing and reversing population by better living standards (comes down to abundant energy)

it's the transition from a type 0 to a type 1 civilization  (supposed to be the most crucial transition)

let's hope we don't end it in a cataclysmic event before that happens
