Ridiculously hot.
A couple of weeks ago it got cool.
At least it is really dry.
Drink a gallon of water during work.

Still raining very hard but the tornado warning has varied - now it's going back and forth with the "tornado watch" stage.  The TV, Alexa, and my wife's phone were all beeping a little while ago and it got alarmingly dark for a while.  Looks okay for now, the rain has slowed down while I was typing.
Fingers crossed.

Blue skies after a night and half day of soaking rain. Fluffy white clouds racing by from the lately predominant Atlantic south-west stream.

Enjoy it now because roughly 5 billion years from today, the Sun will exhaust the hydrogen fuel in its core and start burning helium, forcing its transition into a red giant star. This means the Sun will gradually engulf Mercury, Venus, and likely Earth.

Must prepare!

Yep.
There's a tug- of- war going on with the humidity around here. One day is passable. The next death.
Our dewpoints can crept up there to those figures... but with the temps pushing 120 F. , any moisture just plain sucks the life out of you.
And it kills the deodorant by moving it down to your shoes.
