Strongmen and their challenged masculinity (by gays and feminists) are familiar too...

I only go by the thread titles, so forgive me for being so bold and uncouth, wandering into the hallowed halls of your compelling political debates here in Radio Paradise.
Besides, a little patience and perception would help you to see that they are feminist videos.

How exactly does Tom Waits' "Low down" qualify as a feminist video?

Perhaps not, based on a sense of modern technology and the belief of being invulnerable to its loss. However, speaking about the 21st century: there's nothing quite like a blackout to suddenly remind us humans of how truly impotent we are without electricity. Within days we can be reduced to savagery. Commodities to create technology can also come under blockage and dominion of the few ... these things are real, male or female, mammal or insect, its always a battle for resources. Disregarding personal affronts to our ideology.

1) There were several days of no electricity after Hurricane Sandy, and people did not turn to savages.

2) One huge difference is that mothers are not willing to send their children to war, so if women were in charge, I doubt this would change.

3) There are biological differences between men and women that causes men, especially under the age of 25, to be violent. Statistics bear this out.

4) There are biological differences that appear even in small children. Anecdotal evidence that I have have through being around children almost every waking minute for at least 18 yrs has shown me that even two year old boys show much more aggression than two year old girls, and this trend continues. (Of course there are exceptions)

And btw, I never said that women were superior to men, we are just different. No need to make judgments.
