Ah, I thought that he was admitting to the reality of an organized campaign to take over these countries and subjugate their populations.  I kinda always thought that this is how the "choice" of "convert or die" was implemented to the infidels.  Lately, it is not even a choice.  It is now simply die as we saw on October 7th, 2023.
