Alexandra wrote: It's a reflection of a Christmas tree on the opposite building. That is one thing I LOVE about this city...all the mirror windows that ping-pong light and reflections off one another...which is why the whole city is pink at sunset. It reflects off western-facing buildings onto eastern-facing buildings, and add Christmas lights to that all over town and it = I thought it looked like a Christmas tree. Very cool.

Of all mornings I really should've had my REAL camera.....the sunrise was magnificent. So much so, that several people were glued to the windows with mouths agape. The colors were intense, neon salmon and gold and pink and hazy purple, and just got more and more so just before it was fully risen. And this was all my crap cell phone could capture. Mt Hood seems very small and distant in camera phone pix, but it really looks much larger from my office. And it's all snowy again, too!
