Rock Hard Video Poetry Series-Seances From The Heart Of The Rebellion: Chapter One- Óæàñíà êðàñîòà Or Terrible Beauty I Dreamed While Eating Spinach
One night I dreamed of a pencil drawn saga of simple scenery, and suddenly was rent from Rem to Rem!
...............I stood at the edge of a stand of tall bare trees. A fearsome red and blackness shrouded the sky and the air. All around were people that I didn't recognize, their eyes wide with disbelief, their cheeks soaked. The ground shook, and broke open beneath my feet. A smoldering acrid crush of horror belched up out of the fiery mass within. I leapt to one side, and held onto a tree for dear life, such as it was............ Across an endless and barren clearing, I could make out what appeared to be two huge birds, flying in tandem along the timberline of the charred forest where we crouched, paralyzed. Their wings beat as if in slow motion, and as they crossed the vast open space and got nearer, I began to wilt at their fearsome size and certain malevolence. The first one was leathery and prehistoric looking; like some kind of mythic monster, with a terrible vulture like head and demonic eyes. The second was similar in appearance, except for a head of two snakes, both scanning and writhing in ominous portent. The people around me began to scream and run and I myself clung to a smoldering tree and tried to hide, as the first creature crashed through our brittle hiding place with an ear piercing screech and landed on a helpless man right beside me, ripping him to shreads before my eyes. My heart withered in my chest, and I was startled awake, never again the same as before.....
