In my opinion - it takes practicing a certain way of thinking. We are in charge of what we think.

One doesn't need reasons to be optimistic. If you have everything, what's there left to be optimistic for? It is a choice. You either are optimist or pessimist. (sorry for bad english)

Learned Optimism: How to Change Your Mind and Your Life, by Martin E. P. Seligman, Ph.D. (1990, Vintage Books) http://www.reflectivehappiness.com There are also several other titles by Seligman that deal with happiness and overcoming learned helplessness. Someone recommended that I read this, and I was quite optimistic when I went out and got the book. Now I am looking forward to actually reading it some day.

Optimism breeds confidence, which breeds motion, which breeds action, which leads to things getting done. Is there anything out there??? Is it possible to create optimism? Do you have a way to generate optimism? Please share your knowledge.
Adding thinner to paint does not make paint. It will give the hope that you finish the job though!
