If anyone on meta ( facebook) who is friends with me could please see if you can get to my account and report it as being hacked by whatever means they provide, I would really appreciate it. I have been trying to follow their instructions to recover my account but they make it nearly impossible. They want me to upload my ID but they only way they let me do it is by scanning it into their system using my webcam. I've tried several times and each time it has been rejected because my webcam can't produce a high quality clear image. I had things posted on my account that go back over 12 years and lots of images and memories that I don't even have on my HD anymore. So any help from my people on FB would be fragrantly appreciated.

Does anyone know how to deal with being hacked?
The only solution I can think of is changing all of the passwords - maybe notifying the host sites. If someone set up a "fake" account with your name you need to tell notify the host (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) . I know several people who've had that happen to them.

Usually I, like, fix a toaster or play cowboy music or harass the people I love with my pet horsefly. I don't know much from FB or anywhere else. I do know how to fix stuff though. It hasn't made me wealthy but I got pretty rich. I try to keep in mind that the brown water is just muddy on the other side of the river. Hope this helps.
