Sent out my mixtapes today, so podlings should be on the lookout for a package from 'tucky Monday-ish.  That would be Meower and Sean-E-Sean, Rachlan, Pound Puppy & Yibble (+1 for NAF).

It is, perhaps, the most selfish and self-indulgent mixtape ever conceived.  But, hey - when is it not all about me?

Exactly.  Mine is due out in December and while it won't have a Christmas theme — who among us doesn't love Xmas Muzak, right? — I don't expect to wow (anesthetize) my podsters with tunes which they've never heard. (though there might be a few)

And why shouldn't you? It's just as much about your experience making it as it is about the people you're making it for.
At least, that's how I looked at it.

No, it was DHG not NWG. Sent me some Avett Brothers and her cormpooter cut off every song. I thought, "wow they sure do like to just cut the tape and jump to the next song a lot." A year later she told me those songs all had actual endings.

Okay, just checking.

You know you were going to make a mix of all Christmas songs—obscure, funny, or odd covers...

It's Christmas time in Hollis, Queens
Mom's cooking chicken and collard greens
Rice and stuffing, macaroni and cheese
And Santa put gifts under Christmas trees...

I don't know that I bothered making mixtapes off of records, though I did record plenty of full albums to tape so I catch your drift.
