That's pretty much what the Scottish lady from Glascow said. Hmm. However, I reminded her that it was the French that wrote the English language for the first time after the Norman conquest, and that it was we, the Americans who had perfected the English language to the wonderful state that it was in today. She was not especially impressed with my reasoning and if there had been an "annoying things" topic here on RP she would have undoubtedly posted that I was an annoying american twat, but alas, the forum existed naught and thus, the post was never made.

In any event, spelling??? please. What idiot left out the U in Colour anyway?
