Yep, it woke me right up and was thoroughly impressed. Until I called the Health Dept about getting the bat tested and they said any pet here that comes in contact with a bat (or other suspected rabid animal) must get a rabies booster within 24 hours or get quarantined  Thats because the testing sometimes takes longer than 24 hours so they want to make sure the animal and its subjects are protected.

Stinky was asleep in my lap while I was watching tv in the dark about 8 years ago. My house was still infested with bats then. A bat flew right through my line of sight between us and the TV. Stinky all at once woke up jumped off my lap and caught the bat in mid flight on the first try. He was rewarded by getting a rabies booster shot even though he was up to date as thats law here.

I think whatever that cat caught is some sort of glider or toy designed to look like a bird.  It's not moving and the wings are sticking out flat after the cat catches it.  That's a pretty awesome jump though.
