I saw the entire speech and kept on watching afterwards long into the evening.  I saw a Capitol building with almost zero police guarding it and those who were, were letting people into the building and even taking selfies with the protesters.  How many protesters were found carrying guns ?  If this was an insurrection by your standards, you set a bar that is so low that no one would even stub a toe coming into contact with it.

I chose not to engage in the ongoing cry of insurrection because all of you lunatics were beyond obsessed with it and incapable of reasoning.  You've been repeating the story so long, you believe it is true no matter what anyone else has to say about it.  Now that the FBI has come forward and said after their investigation that this was not an insurrection, I will take you on about this and argue back.  Your new found party and its friend and overseer, the MSN has lied to you and leads you around by your nose and you happily oblige.

Please cue me in on Trump’s plan. The fact is that Trump doesn’t plan anything. Never did… never will. You had an early taste of that when he threw out Chris Chistie’s transition plan and replaced it with nothing which was a fitting way to usher in Trump’s sh*t show of an administration. He had a plan for handling a pandemic handed to him which he also ignored because it came from the Obama administration. Plans are his personal kryptonite.

You are dealing in areas that aren't quite as black & white as you would like to believe they are. Even you don't believe that Biden was sitting down on his iPad working out the bullet points of an extraction plan. Yes, the extraction is turning out to be a mess. One big issue is what information was Biden being fed leading to the extraction from his top level military advisors? If different scenarios were mapped out to him and recommendations made as to the best scenario and he chose that scenario based on those recommendations... isn't that what most leaders would do? Was there information that was withheld from him? He ultimately will be responsible for his decision (and will undoubtedly suffer for it) but unless it becomes known that he ignored recommendations that could have resulted in a different outcome... what can one really expect?

As for Keystone...I realize juggling two issues can be challenging, so I'll try to go slow.  You can stop one thing to prioritize the local environment, even if you still need the oil.  At that point, you move on.  I'm sure you know that the majority of the Keystone oil was going to be exported from the US as refined products.  The impact on gasoline pricing would be negligible...but we digress.  Oh yeah...Biden stopped it in January.  How much oil would have been flowing 7 months later when he asked OPEC to increase production?  I know...it's a lot to remember.

As oil prices and inflation rise, you ask those that produce the oil to increase production (which was reduced to keep prices high during COVID in 2020) so that inflation doesn't spiral into all of the prices that are impacted by oil.    It's called managing the economy.  It's the kind of thing you would do if you had the "greatest economy in history", but then pissed it away and lost an election because you tried to prop up the stock market instead of addressing the virus. 

I know, it's the Chinese Communist Party's fault.  Good thing they like Joe so much.

Biden has not covered himself with glory here, but this disaster was 20 years in the making. I can't blame the last fool when the previous three did at least as much...as presidents. Biden gets some unique blame for his decades in congress authorizing (and failing to exercise oversight and control over) the debacle as it unrolled, but he's not alone there either.

The recent loss of life is tragic but these bodies are stacked on a pile a quarter million tall.
