And a democrat shot two sheriff's deputies minding their own business in Compton on Saturday. A crowd of democrat onlookers cheered and took videos. None bothered to call 911.
Then some democrats go to the hospital where they are being treated, blocking the entrances in a protest and yell out that they hope the cops die.
Gotta love you democrats.
Maybe all cops should take a week off all at once and let social workers fill in so we can find out just how much we need them.

A sheriffâs deputy in Georgia has been fired after being filmed beating a Black man, Roderick Walker, during a traffic stop near Atlanta in front of his two children. He was a passenger in a ride-share. Two deputies can be seen on top of Walker, with one punching him repeatedly.

You could pay for it by taking some money out of the police budget. You know, partially defunding them. Maybe if instead of defunding, we add funds. But we require they be spent on training, these other personnel, and a short term position of selling off all the surplus military gear they have gathered in the last decade - no selling them to the local militia though..... ah wait, maybe we need to start a foundry. I think part of the solution is to put the response under the control of health care separate from the police, with police supporting them. The cop training for fighting crime isn't a good fit to dealing with mental health issues. But I would be good with having it within the police department if the health cops were really in charge, trained properly, and their performance evaluated on ability to deal with situations using minimal violence.

US Law Enforcementâs Warrior Complex Is on Full Display in the Streetsâand in Leaked DocumentsIn memos, intelligence reports, and other interdepartmental communications from the days following the police killing of George Floyd, domestic law enforcement agencies, especially those on the federal level, put on display their zeal for War on Terrorâstyle counterinsurgency, their propensity to portray themselves as under constant threat by conniving aggressors, and their willingnessâeven eagernessâto signal-boost disprovable rumors of dissentersâ violent intentions. Taken together, these documents give credence to one of the central observations of the Black Lives Matter movement: that law enforcement in the United States functions as a military occupation.
