Yes...  I did.

... did you know that the Polar Bear's hair isn't white?  It's actually colorless and transparent to let light through and the bear's skin is black?

thats a long way for a euro eel.

I remember reading about those eels in a book called Fish Do The Strangest Things. We also had the companion books about insects, animals, and reptiles.

Why do I know this? Because on our evening walks down at the beach after heavy rains (such as the past two days), the snails come out of the dune grasses and are all over the trail. Hundreds, if not thousands of them. It takes attention to not crunch them underfoot. And I got curious as to their anatomy and predators and my Google finger is in good shape. And now I doubt I can enjoy my dinner or sleep well. And now you know why I never get anything done.

Frogs, nematodes, ground beetles, shrews, newts, ducks, and hens. And gulls, after I've crushed them with my shoe.

That explains it. I always thought wow, tantric snails cause they were at for hours in front of my office window. Later that day, coming back I took a closer look and wondered where all this crud on their heads had come from.. At first I thought they were just unlucky enough to get hit by a passing pigeon in the middle of their wildest moments.
