 Let me know when you guys are around, I'm piecing things together and it's looking like surgery won't be until Monday, but I heard a radio ad for SD fares for like $98 one way a few weeks ago.      I'll trade you an old  immobile man for a mid size dog anyday. The dog can pee and poop outside . After  enough impossible assisted standing and peeing followed by a few fire carries to the porto-potty (exaggeration)you definitely start to consider a yard pen, but then when you think of all the legalities involved  a hospital is just a better choice, no matter if he bites you about it or not.

     Plus the dog can't be stupid enough to  resist treatment.

 And of course SFW wouldn't be stupid enough to let a gottdamm dog talk him out of what he knows is best, just because that dog is his father.
