For some reason, it's a work holiday, so I can't clock in and distract myself by working at my job, so I will: Change the bed and wash the sheets Shop in the freezer Make a meal plan with what's on hand, because we can't shop, and we can't get deliveries right now Pace from one end of the house to the other, and back Possibly day drink Maybe get outside Slowly go insane
Her ladyship wants the remaining Strawberry guavas and Brazillian cherries picked today. These damn clever "28 " parrots we have here have managed to get into the bird netting again and will strip the tree in no time . We have recently realized that netting sends them a "something must be yummy here" message so now they target the netted orchard trees first.
trying to decide whether I should "redeploy" at work and go into the hospital to support during COVID or just stay home and do my essential work remotely....
Tough one, but remember your current work is so needed and will be very badly needed when this calms down. No guilt in not putting your hand up for that.

What's around there now - bluefish, fluke, and flounder?
uh.
Doesn't really matter anyhow; the "fishing" is the main thing. I know that a lot of fishing people have the whole calendar/fish migration memorized - definitely here in NC. I wasn't into fishing as much as some of my friends but we'd go out fishing on Long Island in April, it was fun - mostly bluefish and flounder. It was more about beer than fish to me though.
yea, he drives by the spot and can tell when the fish are jumpin

Go sit by the inlet. Remember I used to jump off that bridge when I was a kid.

Plan B. Where you at?
Belmar still. I do go to my office one day/week just in case there are patient issues, but there's the possibility of being more help if I go to the hospital. Everyone is saying I shouldn't....
