My daughter has become quite the grower of Plumeria trees in the last few years. Since we were in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago, she had my wife and I searching for "cuttings" for her to bring back home. Driving out the "back road" out of Hana, we found Charles Lindbergh's grave site. It was in such a beautiful location... full of Plumeria trees. I found this one she's been looking for...

When i walked out of the grocery store with these flowers, it took me at least 5 seconds before i realized this guy was talking to me when he shouted, "You in the doghouse, man?"

One of the many trilliums. Sessile, or wake robin. Other common names, and I don't know the Latin name off the top of my head, though I should learn it. Here's another, more familiar trillium.
