Surely they won't go the 1950's route. Freddie is one of my ROCK GOD heroes. I'm excited about this one!

Can't believe no one has mentioned Bohemian Rhapsody perfectly cast with Rami Malek. He is physically perfect for the role and a fine actor. I certainly hope they don't go all 1950s and completely ignore his sexuality, not for political reasons but for maintaining an authentic and accurate portrayal without being cheesy and fake. I mean it is sex, drugs and rock and roll!

Not just San Francisco. As noted below even in South Carolina, yes South Carolina. A lot of people do not realize that the 3 major cities in SC (Charleston, Greenville and Columbia) are extremely progressive for the most part at least in city limits, you go out into the surrounding areas you're on your own!{#Eek}
