If you haven't seen this one already, get on it, posthaste!
That one really is great, heartbreaking part when his friend tells the story about right before he died sitting in the car with him and playing virtually every song he recorded and that was the last time he saw him.
It's a well-done documentary but I found it quite depressing when it was over.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Bohemian Rhapsody perfectly cast with Rami Malek. He is physically perfect for the role and a fine actor. I certainly hope they don't go all 1950s and completely ignore his sexuality, not for political reasons but for maintaining an authentic and accurate portrayal without being cheesy and fake. I mean it is sex, drugs and rock and roll!

Not just San Francisco. As noted below even in South Carolina, yes South Carolina. A lot of people do not realize that the 3 major cities in SC (Charleston, Greenville and Columbia) are extremely progressive for the most part at least in city limits, you go out into the surrounding areas you're on your own!
It was pretty foul in the stairwell because I think most people just never made it all the way to the actual toilet before they began involuntarily expelling bodily substances all over the place.
In a nod toward equality of some sort, a lot of San Francisco nightclub/bar bathrooms were unisex. Which led to a strange pickup line, "I promise I didn't piss on the seat."

That's really cool - I've never seen that site before. Yes, it is much more well-lit than I remember it being, though I had been in there in the mid-afternoon once or twice - for reasons which now elude me.
I'll have to check that out. The bathroom wasn't that disgusting, comapred to most rock clubs back then.

We're sentient, analog creatures; slowly being forced through an increasingly sampled digital sieve...To hell with format I say! Long live the sine(sign) wave good-bye!
Technological advancement is always a give and take... I love being able to listen to pretty much any song I want to hear, any time, for free via Spotify. It's definitely not all bad
