Yikes! Yes, the "light in the window" theme is pretty timeless, and he did do a lot of night scenes. His were usually idyllic little cottages in a forest, done with a "warm" color palette - not so much modular buildings with bars on the windows.

Thanks everyone. I did have to get those iconic robots in there - they had been bugging me about it for days. It's true too that I was incorporating an inspiration of Van Gogh and Munch for much of the background and the placement of the main figure. What's also good about getting these high-res, "professional" photos done is that I can sell prints of the works. The woman who photographed them is set up to make high quality prints in her gallery.
