That right there is the key. Several snacks all day to keep your metabolism going like a steam engine. Celery sticks, apple wedges, pretzels, squares of cheese....it's all about little snacks versus big meals. {#Yes}

And for me—-somehow, exercising in the morning REALLY works better than any other time of day. I am eagerly awaiting the return of morning daylight so I can run BEFORE work.

I have absolutely no advise to offer.  Never take weight control advise from a fat guy anyway, but really, no idea. Power lifters and body builders are the same way. They eat five or six times a day and pound down the protein and greens.  Some carbs, but mostly protein.

I know...I know, believe me I know. I have to be SO careful. I'm still trying to find the balance of how much I have to eat to do this...and what kind of nutrients, etc.
I carbed up before that marathon—-and while it helped my running performance, it really effed up my entire system, because my system just isn't used to it. I hardly eat them at all.....

I'll get it right this time...and I have 9 more weeks to figure it out.

All you need is some decent protein in the diet and lots of electrolytes.

Boy, no kidding.  I must have had three boxes of them in my grandmother's basement when she died.  House sold and somebody got lucky.  I had forgotten all about them.  They were from about 1960 to 1968.  *smackes self in head*
