Yup I agree, because Smooth Ease is something that goes plop in the toilet without much effort.

So the word, "smoothie," meaning foods and ice and whatnot put into a blender so that someone with a broken jaw can "eat" through a straw. That word is just wrong. I first heard it in the 70s and thought "man, that is a disgusting word for something you want me to eat." But over time I became inured to it and now I can say the word smoothie without giggling or gagging. Until now. A local specialty shop has opened and chosen to name themselves

Smooth Ease

and I just cannot.

For the record, it was a double pineapple pepperoni and it was good.

I'd tap that!
I would eat and enjoy nearly any combo of toppings (except fish) if it's really well made. All I can get delivered around here is round table and it's really sucky. They used to be somewhat tolerable but now they're nearly as bad as Little Seizures.

Other than  a few flurries, no snow in Denver and another daily high in the 70s today.

I heard on the news this morning (in Philly) that Denver has the second-longest stretch in recorded history without snow....233 days.  12 more to set the all-time record.

Denver's snow and cold are apparently in the UK, where it's going to be as low as -10C (14F).

A friend, former employee actually, went to see Rocketman so she posted on FB, "What's your favorite Elton John song?" and people posted some videos, I could have gone with something no one's heard but I said Funeral/Bleeding and other people were GYBR and stuff, a few Benny &the Jets/Crocodile Rock people but for the most part, the good stuff, and she finally comes back with her favorite: "I'm Still Standing."

See topic title.

Yeah, that isn't his finest work. In the movie however, it fit perfectly. I was prepared to hate Rocketman, but I thought it was great.

Anything's gotta be better than the Queen one.

There was a movie called Rock Star a couple decades ago that I honestly thought was supposed to be a comedy, but after I'd watched it a few times and kept raving about this new Spinal Tap, someone told me it wasn't supposed to be funny. Bohemian Rhapsody was right in there...
 Ouch.
What really impressed me about Rocketman was Taron Egerton singing everything himself. Lip-syncing would have ruined it.
