I was a late comer to Lost. In fact, it was by checking in to this thread that I decided I would give it a try (I am not a TV watcher). So I downloaded the first episode... and that was it for me! Immediate and complete addiction. When I watched it, my reaction was, WTF?  But after I started thinking about it and realizing what it meant, I liked the premise.  Yes, there are some loose ends (did they ever explain the numbers?) but I'm still happy with it.  It was great to see Boone (love Ian somerhalder) and Charlie.  I think I cried every time the characters recognized each other...I'm such a softy.

Did anyone watch the Jimmy Kimmel special?  I recorded it but haven't watched yet.  I heard it was pretty lame but I'll still watch it.

As a side note.  I never liked Juliet.  omg, she bugged the crap out of me.  Hated her demeanor and stupid facial expressions.

Not to nit-pick, but Juliet was in the church at the end, and she was not from season 1 nor on the plane. I guess her time with Sawyer (and before that with Jack, and before that with Ben) made her a part of their little Ra-Tet (to borrow a phrase from Stephen King that I think fits pretty nicely, yes). I believed Ben could have come in if he liked, but it's nice to hear from the horse's mouth (sort of) that he in fact chose to stay and help Danielle, Alex, etc. which is what I choose to believe from his final scene and not that he got the Susan Peviense treatment... (two for one fantasy literature references today!)
