The Sound of Muzak first caught my ear years ago. That was a pretty big hit as well, quite unusual.

That was a good read, thanks for sharing! When I recently saw them on their Closure/Continuation tour, Steven Wilson alluded to the time when he was disappointed that they never had a hit single —- but that he wasn't anymore. IIRC, he mentioned "Trains" and "Lazarus" (?) as coming closest.
