Soooo...my ratings do not change the frequency of playing, i.e. 10's are no more played than 7's? I've seen people say, "I gave it a 10 to hear it more often." I've always thought (correctly, I'm sure) that does not change the frequency of a curated mix, but was not sure about My Favorites. BTW 63% of my 3408 songs are 8's.

I rate all the songs in My Favorites a 10. Not sure what that does in setting up 'sets' but I love the channel being such an eclectic blend of songs I like.  I listen to it probably 75% of the time.

I assume songs are tagged with things like BPM, key(?), instrumentation on the intro/outro, hard/cold ending or fade... with enough tags a robot could do a passable job, I think.

I've also noticed Apple Music does a decent job of this sometimes—too often to be totally random, I think, but we could just be one step away from the tinfoil hat club.

Well you can tell it to play your "Favorites" and set that to a minimum rating of 7,8,...
