HOLD ON GUYS! I was referring to Barbara Billingsley! Sorry for the onrush of PMs and condolences herein. My Mom aka birth mother and woman who raised me in my youth, died when I was 3 years old... 57 years ago!
I posted "Sorry" and more and then realized the forum. Went back and erased it, feeling like a dope.
For me, Barbara Billingsley was the iconic TV mom of the late '50s - early '60s. Although it's often noted that she wore a pearl necklace and high heels to do housework, it would have been unusual for any of the women in my childhood neighborhood not to have worn a dress around the house. Although Leave It to Beaver was the idealized, every-problem-can-be-fixed-in-30-minutes version, June Cleaver was pretty similar to the moms I saw in those days. I'm saddened by the passing of Ms. Billingsley.

Leave it to Beaver was one of my favorite shows. When they were filming the new one at Universal down here in the 90's, I met her and Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell).

Heard of it, must've been be a big influence on the 'boomers if we've heard of but not seen it here.
Oh! Her Very cool lady from what I can tell from the movie.
