that's powerful stuff...do you dilute it with water/other oil?
i know it has strong antimicrobial properties, and anti-inflammatory properties, latter which i guess helps with allergies.

I can't find any around here but I think I know a place to get some.

Broke out the nettie pot this afternoon for the first time in years.  Just getting over (I hope) a brutal sinus infection after 10 days on doxycycline.  Still some gunk that needs to be dealt with to avoid reinfection.

We just had the worst time in years for tree pollen in NEO.  All the trees came into bloom at the same time this year.

A Navage has just moved up the list of priorities.

So I'll be over here snorting saline and all the aromastuff and flucotizone? and benadryl and sneezing.

The cedar pollen has receded here, but oak and pecan will be here soon...

I'm not sure what mine is here in Oregon...but whatever it is, it started blooming now instead of in March or April.

So when someone eats local honey - something I've been told is a cure-all for seasonal allergies - does it work instantaneously (as in, eating it now would help with spring allergies already in progress) or does it build cumulatively before it works and a resistance kicks in?

And if so, how long?

Did anyone give you any sort of aromatherapy thing—like a candle or those bottles of oil with sticks coming out the top (for Christmas)? It took my mother and I a long time to realize that's what was affecting us. They were the ones from Target.

No, I don't have any of those anymore because they make me sneeze.  I think Sally makes me sneeze because she has been more affectionate lately I suppose because of the cold weather.  Oh well, I guess I'll learn to live with it.

I have deducted that whatever was giving me chronic asthma is NOT in Ohio. Since I've been here, I haven't had to use my inhaler and my lungs are clear for the first time in weeks. Makes me wonder if maybe I'm allergic to one of the Oregon fir or cedar trees. (Except it's only bad in fall/winter)

Everyday is allergy season for me because of all my food allergies. But there is something outside now that's making it really bad during my daily walks. For me instead of itchy eyes and runny nose I just get tons of post nasal drip mucus so I can't sleep or even use a Cpap. It sucks.

I get that in the spring. It gets so bad that some mornings I vomit up clear, foamy mucus that I've swallowed in my sleep, I even stopped drinking beer during the first couple weeks of baseball season in an attempt to eliminate all possible contributing factors, but thankfully that wasn't the cause.

Is there ragweed in Oregon? Probably. . . .

Oy, and I have a bike ride today.

Mine kick up every time the lawn is cut(which of course was Thursday afternoon, just in time to be half blind for the baseball playoffs).
