I think that the Democrats should have voted for McCarthy as speaker. First, if the idea is that the government should first and foremost govern, then that is the best path forward. The upheaval and delays play into the hands of the right-wing. Second, it is the only chance of getting Ukraine aid passed and McCarthy would owe them one. Third, Gaetz would have bust an artery.

If the democrats were smart they would be running a campaign against the trump-adjacent corruption. Especially against Jared Kushner and Ivana, Sydney Powell, Rudy. You get far more mileage out of that than out of bitching about the man himself.

And, if a hidden agenda of the anti-Trump league is to bankrupt him, then besides trying up all his assets in court cases, they should simultaneously be bringing appropriate lawsuits against the others in the family. Do it all at once.
I hope the Dems put this in their campaign ads in the swing states. With some good Madison Ave style commercials they can do a good job of splaining what's to come if they go with Trump again. I don't think they need to keep throwing Jan 6th out there, its stale everyone has seen it at this point.

Evidence? Facts? They are so focused on creating "The Biden Crime Family" to somehow justify Trump, that they don't even recognize common sense.
