I've been acting out in the Bible Verse forum - and I have not pulled my punches - so, getting down to the core of it - I'm disgusted with religion on this planet - it pretends to be a spiritual gateway. Religion is a money pit.
Religion is a strait and narrow path to predatory clergy, supported poverty and docility of mind, body, and spirit. Religion and politics are correllary, and as a combined force have created and supported all evil. There really isn't much difference between religion and politics. Spirituality, individual postulation, sharing of experience, thoguht, support, is not religion. Some people who practice religion do so socially, but, as a rule, as soon as a sense of spirituality comes upon them the religion falls away. Religion should be a religion of one - 50,000 people believeing, without question, the same way create not only stagnation, but create an atmosphere of fear and need to dominate others. Spirituality has no such needs - it is. Comments? Ideas?
