I had a cheapo Qtip break in half while I was using it.  ugh.  

I love the cushy soft real ones. 

i got some make up foundation samples from ULTA the other day.  i decided to try one of them yesterday, since i didn't have to go anywhere or see anyone (other than schlabby, and he always thinks i'm beautiful...   ).  you never know, right?

anyway, it's called EXUVIANCE.  i didn't see the product in the store, and have never heard of it before.

it's the ONLY PRODUCT i have EVER used that successfully covers my rosacea patches with one application. no concealer under it, no foundation primer.
just the make up, in a single layer.
it's amazing!!

nothing else i've ever used, from mary kay, to clinique, to drug store brands, to "bare minerals," has had enough coverage.  even with applying extra product, concealer, or foundation primer FIRST!

on the other hand, the exuviance does not appear to be too heavy.....so that the REST of my face doesn't look like i am wearing a ton of make up. it blends nicely.
it would be great for stage make up, too, if i ever dance again....i'd just need to use a little extra.

i like it.

HOWEVER, i used make up remover before bed last night, and then i washed my face with cleanser in the shower this morning, and when i used my toner after the shower, there was STILL residue of the make up on my skin from the day before. 

SO—-great coverage, but it's really hard to get off!!

"Aubrey Primrose Tangle-Go" 
I bought some of this at the healthfood store, and it is AWFUL!!!  First of all, it does not help with tangles AT ALL.  I think it even made it worse.  I tried it a bunch of ways.  And worst of all, it permeates the surrounding environment with an overwhelming old-lady-ish perfume!!  I thought these organic-y things were all non-perfume!  This stuff made me dizzy and woozy. 

okay, i've never tried or tested wen hair care products, but i am curious about them.  since i want to keep my hair long, and need to take extra good care of it, this product line's claims intrigue me.

also, if anyone out there has tried it, is there ANY store that sells it?  i'd prefer to not have to pay shipping.
