chapter 3.
i am dead.
lying in this casket of linen wearing the same suit i first wore when i asked her out.
its cold underground. i can hear my sister leave flowers but i cant yell to her.
she bit my cheek when i was nine and it left a mark. and she keeps apologizing. i wish she would stop. i wish she woudnt come back.
chapter 4.
death becomes me. i am more than i thought. i am looming over this scene and the choices are multiple. the grass has a vocabulary. the trees are leaning in my favor bending to my lost decisions.
who will come with me.
who will i be if i leave.

It does seem a little creepy. They keep him frozen in a Tuff shed.

romeotuma wrote: Town Breathes Easier as Frozen Dead Guy and His Festival Stay Putby Kirk Johnson The New York Times January 4, 2012 DENVER — It was probably not, in the end, an idea with huge franchise potential or a killer smartphone app in its future. After all, a gleefully macabre weekend celebration built around a frozen corpse — complete with coffin races, tours of the shed where the body is kept on ice and, of course, lots of beer — just might not be as fun beyond the skewed sensibility of Colorado's hippie-tinged mountain belt.
But now it's official: Frozen Dead Guy Days are staying put in the small town of Nederland, about an hour northwest of Denver, as are the mortal remains of one Bredo Morstoel, a Norwegian man whose strange and unlikely saga in death — and long-term storage — inspired the whole thing... A friend of mine moved to Nederland a few months ago - he had mentioned that festival to me.

Proclivities wrote:It may depend on which bartender or vendor one asks, but historically, Bourbon whiskey should be from Kentucky.
Yes indeed. Probably one reason JD eschews the moniker, even though the product technically meets all the requirements for bourbon. Kind of a tomayto tomahto thing. If I was tending bar, a request for 'bourbon' would be, say, Jim Beam. 'Whiskey' would be something blended, like Johnnie Walker or Seagram's Seven. 'Scotch' would be something else blended, like Dewars. Pretty much everything else would be ordered by name: if you want Jack Daniels, you better ask for 'Jack Daniels', not 'bourbon' or 'whiskey'.
