I thought it would be nice to implement a feature that allows you to watch a video of the current song, if there is one available (although it would never be possible to sync it with the rp stream)
I've searched through the last.fm api but it seems they don't support this. They host videos on their website but i have no way of querying their database for a set of results.
Does anyone know of a service/website that can provide the information and the video?

Small update:

I've released a new (beta) version (2.1.0 beta):

http://sites.google.com/site/rpwiki/toolbar/nighty-builds

Unfortunately there are no new features though.

I rewrote parts of the code at the request of the mozilla review team, which is also why the 2.0 version hasn't been made official yet. Once i'm confident that the 2.1.0beta version doesn't have any bugs i'll resubmit it to the official mozilla addons website.

Works fine for me, hold on i'm on RP toolbar 2.0.0 are you on that one?

If not you can Download it from the beta site i think.

Happy Christmas Scott and love to you and Justine and family!

EDIT Martys now up to 2.0.3 on the RP Wiki page below, that works for me also on the FF 3.0.5 version.

Hope that helps.

Ah, you're right, I only updated the other machine.

Merry Christmas and Nevermind!

edit: Installed and working fine. Back to my nap.

Urls that open in the current browser window can now be opened in a new tab by holding down the CTRL key.

This has been added in 2.0.3, which can be downloaded here:
http://sites.google.com/site/rpwiki/toolbar/nighty-builds

btw, i hope this also works on the Mac / Linux ... i was not able to test that. There could be a difference though in how an OS communicates the keycode for the CTRL key.

Even if says "experimental" works flawless here (FF 2.x), thanks a lot.

I'm happy to announce that i just uploaded version 2.0.0 to the mozilla website {#Smile}

You can download / install it here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addons/versions/4392#version-2.0.0

It is still marked as experimental, because it has to be reviewed first before it becomes the latest public version.
But thanks to the people on this forum who unofficially reviewed it for me, i'm quite confident that you can upgrade without any (major) problems

Command-W works. But no, the other options are not available. No Cancel/OK buttons, the window "close box" red dot is grayed out. And now that I think about it, this seems to be an Original Bug that I also never tried Command-W with way back when

I've searched a bit with google and it seems this is an undocumented difference between mac and pc. I've read some suggestions to fix it for the mac, but since i don't have a mac myself i can't test it. I put a new version online with a possible fix for this problem.:
http://devshed.excudo.net/xpi/rpt_2.0.0_beta4.xpi

Let me know if this fixes the problem for you.
Btw, this is how it looks on a PC:
