@ Justine.  Well, part one of Deathly Hallows was awesome.  I didn't get through all of the books yet.  I'm almost half-way through the Half-blood Prince.  I watched the movie the other night, though, so I'd know where DH picks up.  I'm going to finish the books before part two comes out in July.

Exactly. There's far more time in a book to flesh-out more of the characters. I've been planning on reading them all for a while, but wanted to wait until the films were almost over. I don't want to read them until after the films because the book is almost allways better.

I've seen all the films, so far, but have only recently started reading the books (finally). The more I read the books Fred & George have become my favorite characters.

I'm about 1/3 of the way through Prisoner'.

(the author's little habits BUG THE CRAP out of me, but the stories are great. also, once she either got a ghost writer {she said, appallingly}, or took some writing classes, those little irritating adverbs started appearing far less frequently!)
